Watch the CNN feature on Building Bridges: Laguna featuring the trailblazers of the south including our very own President, Mr Kerwin Padua sharing how infrastructure development has paved a pivotal role in the growth and development of the province of Laguna.
As one of the closest provinces outside the busy Metro, this province has been a destination for anyone who wants to getaway from the bustle of the city anytime of the year. With the improvement of road networks and highways, particulary the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and SKYWAY, Filipinos and tourists alike find it more and more convenient to travel to the Resort Province of the Philippines, that is Laguna.
As road networks linking towns and cities improve, more Filipinos considered moving out of the city and to nearby provinces like Laguna and Batangas due to its more affordable cost of obtaining a property and general cost of living, thus housing demand also increased. The landscape of real estate has changed since 2005, as Lynville Land Development Corporation, President, Mr Kerwin Padua narrates. Not until the development of the SLEX in 2009 has real estate exploded and has paved the way to more housing development opportunities in this side of the Philippines.
